let us explain
Printing is a process of reproducing text and images, usually on paper, from an original model.
Since its invention, it has undergone spectacular development, moving from the earliest rudimentary techniques to advanced digital technologies.
There are several printing methods, each suited to specific needs:
• Offset printing : Mainly used for high-quality, high-volume printing, such as brochures and magazines. The offset process uses one printing plate per colour, transferring the ink (mixed with water) onto an intermediate surface before applying it to the paper.
• Digital printing : Ideal for short runs with variable data and personalised printing.
It allows printing directly from digital files without the need for plates.
• Screen printing : Used to print on various materials, including textiles and plastic. A stencil (or screen) is used to apply the ink through a mesh.
• Flexography : Printing with flexible relief plates, used for packaging and various surfaces such as paper and plastic.
