secured papers
Secure paper: the first barrier against document fraud
A secure paper builds its protections in from manufacture: even before printing, the material is tamper-proof. A watermark in the paper structure, invisible fibres revealed under UV light, a security thread, anti-erasure chemical reagents, paper free of optical brightener — these elements can be neither added afterwards nor reproduced by photocopier or scanner.
This is what distinguishes secure paper from document security applied at printing (guilloché patterns, microtext, special inks, holograms): the two approaches combine to reach the level of protection your use requires.
Etic France has manufactured bespoke secure papers for 35 years: watermarked paper for diplomas and official deeds, cheque backgrounds, letterhead papers for ministries and public bodies, numbered materials for ticketing and value vouchers. In addition, embossing provides tactile authentication and VOID labels seal your sensitive mail.
